Penn Taiwanese Society Alumni Association

Welcome to the Penn Taiwanese Society Alumni Association's Virtual Tour. We appreciate your visit, please browse over our itinerary and may it nourish your minds and be a treasure to your hearts.

What is PTS:

Penn Taiwanese Society, located on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, is an organization aimed to bring students together to celebrate the Taiwanese culture and to educate the campus and community about Taiwan.

What is PTSAA:

Penn Taiwanese Society Alumni Association is an organization with goals of bringing PTS alumni together once again via the Internet across oceans and continents.

A brief introduction:

Three former officers of PTS who were actively involved during their college years to carry PTS to new frontiers now feel a burden to continue the PTS traditions even after graduation. They have focused their efforts on forming the PTSAA, through months of discussions across two continents and the Pacific Ocean, in hopes of bringing that family togetherness to each alumnus once again. Even if you were never involved with PTS, you can still get involved with PTSAA.

Kai-Gang (chit-chatting)

For Breakfast, we will sit out in the park eating shao-bing you-tiao and drinking dou-jiang while we tell you all about our mission.

As we tell you all about the details of our events, we will stop by Hsinchu for their famous cha-bi-hun.

Do you know what Tainan is famous for? Of course, all the various type of snacks. We will have some noodles here, some buns there, and some delicious fruits as well. As we eat to our hearts delight, you can visit our message board to see what fellow visitors and members have to say. Includes a classified section, a place to leave your comments, and just pure networking information.

We must go to the Grand Hotel in Taipei for the 10 course banquet dinner including shark fin soup and roast duck as we give you a detailed description of all our alumni members and what they are currently doing.

At last, the party must end, we will disperse our tour in Taipei's Shihlin Night Market, right next to Chien-Tan. We hope you enjoyed this brief tour. As we bid our farewells, we leave you with this parting thought - PTSAA is there for you, no matter where you are, but you will never find out unless you join PTSAA.

The PTSAA NEWSLETTER will be delivered to your virtual accounts some time in August, please be patient, the editor is extremely busy. However, if you would like to contribute to the newsletter in any sort of fashion, please see the request letter.
